This could be huge
I know you are looking for a Group Engagement Director. What a coincidence - I'm looking to not only engage people, but to also surprise and delight them along the way. (Who doesn't like a surprise!?) I am looking for a place where I can be inspired and lead a team of amazing people who do interesting things that have never been done before. Every. Single. Day.
There is a good bit to explore on my site, so be sure to click the links above (me & cv are a good start). If you want to see how I match up against this job's requirements, take a look below. I have included examples of how I have met or exceeded them in my previous roles.
I think this might warrant us having a call to see if we really do fit. My contact details are all over this site, but you can simply click here to reach me. (I'll also put another link at the bottom of this page; nobody likes scrolling all the way back up.)

Experience in a client services organization, preferably on projects with top tier consulting firms or interactive agencies (including web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting projects).
One last thing you didn't specifically mention in the job description - translation. While my undergraduate degree is in American Sign Language interpreting, I think this may be the most relevant skill I possess. Much like I would do when interpreting, I am skilled at understanding complex ideas, breaking them down into their component parts, and translating and conveying them to another individual in a way s/he can understand. This is a cornerstone of agency work, and I believe I am masterful in my execution.
I'm also clever, curious, contrary, passionate, hard-working, and a blast at karaoke - in case any of that matters.
- At Brandmovers I lead highvisibility projects with both corporate clients and agency partners to engage consumers with brands in the following programs - The Chiquita SingOff, The NCAA Let's Dance, Silk's launch of CashewMilk and Hasbro's consumer engagement efforts
- At MS&L (now MSL Group) I worked with numerous clients ranging from Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Novartis Consumer Health, Newell Rubbermaid, Cox Communications, and MeadWestvaco to Coca-Cola and Astra-Zeneca.
- We utilized traditional, social, and digital media to engage employees and consumers with the corporate brand, change management programs, and social initiatives across continents.
- While many projects are a sprint, the end goal of a client relationship is often likened to that of a triathlon (or a tough mudder, depending on the project). I have built deep and lasting relationships with clients, coworkers, and agency partners that have continued to flourish regardless of my employer.
- Take a look at my work on the PGA TOUR Championship. In the words of our partners at the PGA TOUR, our team "redefined the face of golf hospitality" through our innovative redesign of the First Data Executive Club.
- Oh, and about the attention to detail - I reference that in the first line of the last section.
- If there was only space for one line on my resume, I would fill it with: successful relationship builder. There isn't a hyperlink I can provide that will demonstrate my ability to relate to - and win over - the hearts and minds of clients, children, and pets. While it is important to be able to relate to the latter two, the former have embraced my personality and adopted my ideas. I've engaged and advised the C-suite of Fortune 250 companies while also winning the hearts and minds of the admin pool. Relationships are key to success in any business, and I flourish in this arena.
- I built this site - and several others - to enable my clients to own and maintain a professional web presence. I believe in the power of the web, and embrace its ability to democratize our interactions.
- I am also a geek - curious about new methodologies, an early adopter of technology, and a frequent supporter on Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
- I have continued to introduce innovative ways to incorporate and utilize technology to enhance and streamline the experience for customers, employees, and staff.
- I've worked in both Waterfall and Agile environments, but I prefer an iterative approach with an amazing and intuitive user experience at the heart of everything I do.
- Managing expectations is one thing; delivering against - and above - them is another. I don't believe in doing anything but my best (with a bonus that will surprise and delight along the way).
- I have managed expectations up, down left, right and sideways while continually delivering on time and on/under budget. You can see some of my stunning work here and here. I prefer to think I create magic, but stunning is a pretty good way to describe it, too.

I sure hope that didn't scare you. Though - if it did - I don't think we would be a good fit (and that's OK). If you think we can make Mondays suck less and clients smile more, hit me up at [email protected], and let's talk. I look forward to an engaging conversation.
